I joined the club in 2003 and as punishment for a couple of years of regular attendance at the club I was seconded onto the committee as Membership Secretary.  I also had the job of looking after the website, but have handed that job over to a new committee member who is better able to give it the effort and expertise it requires.

I am into cars and bikes, and am a firm believer that a vehicle should have twice as many cylinders as wheels.  I am also founding member of the ‘Cheap to Buy, Expensive to Run and Difficult to Sell On’ car owners club.

I enter the Speed Trials each year in my 30 year old Ferrari 308 GT4, and so far have managed to improve my times year on year without making any modifications to it.

There have been scurrilous rumours that I am more into looking cool than getting a fast time at the Speed Trials.  I would like to make it clear that these are completely unfounded!

I also help with Marshalling at the Speed Trials and participate in the Classic and Concours car show in June.
